The Provisions on Promoting the Innovative Development of Standardization in Pudong New Area of Shanghai has been formulated and officially released for implementation in Pudong New Area under the leadership of Shanghai Market Supervision Administration, marking the first standardized regulation released after Shanghai has been granted with the “regulatory legislative power in Pudong New Area”. 

Shanghai Cooperation Platform for International Standardization, based on the local technical resources for international standardization, earnestly promotes the construction of the training bases for international standardization, and strives to build a training approach to cultivate talented masters in international standardization by integrating theories and practices through good cooperation between higher-education institutions and enterprises. As a supporting unit of the Secretariat of ISO/TC 249, Shanghai Academy of International Standardization for Traditional Chinese Medicine has been selected as one of the first local training bases for international standardization in Shanghai.

Mr. Zheng Linyun, Executive Vice President of the Academy, has signed a Contract with Shanghai Polytechnic University on behalf of the Academy. In the coming years, we will harness valuable resources from excellent platforms and experts on international standardization to build an innovative training model and to cultivate talented contributors for a better integration of “production, education, research, and application” in the Traditional Chinese Medicine industry.
